The low to high molecular weight range allows monitoring of protein separation during electrophoresis, determination of the molecular weight of target proteins, and monitoring of transmembrane efficiency in Western Blot experiments. In addition, the 10 kDa, 25 kDa, 110 kDa and 130 kDa bands have fluorescent moieties, making them particularly suitable for use in near-infrared fluorescence imaging systems.
