The complete setup includes a filter assembly, a graduated transparent PS (polystyrene) funnel, and a reservoir. The disposable vacuum filtration units utilizes a vacuum pump to provide the pressure difference, enabling rapid clarification and sterilization of volumes of biological fluids like tissue culture media and other laboratory solutions. The filtered samples can be directly stored in sterile reservoircollection bottles.
